I am hiding here...

It’s about noon on Thursday (yes this is a voice from your past) and I’m bored. I’m setting this post up to auto-post (a new feature I absolutely love) on Friday evening.

Guess what? It’s the holiday weekend! Happy Labor Day to all of you…laborers!

I am, at the very moment this will post, driving as fast as is (fairly) legal on my way out of town for my very own, very private, very lazy, weekend vacation.
Don’t call me I have my cell phone off.
If it’s an emergency you can text me – I’ll check my texts each night if I have phone service.

What in the world will I do on a vacation alone? (I can tell you’re dying to know so I’ll tell you.)
Sleep of course! And then wake up, eat, and sleep again. I might read a book and sleep between chapters if I start feeling adventurous.

Don’t expect me for Bible Study.
I’ve found a replacement teacher for my Sunday morning toddlers.
I’ve arranged for someone else to take my mother out for dinner on her birthday (no I’m not just ignoring her, I’m taking her again when I get back!).
I paid my speeding ticket (yes I had one of those) so I wouldn’t be arrested.
I packed my pillow and clean socks (that’s all you need for a vacation, right?).
